Good Destination,Good Qualities
Tanzania is more and more frequently playing host to adventurous travelers. As in the previous issue where one John Chate bicycled across the country on a Cape to Cairo tour, we now meet Dejan Galvanik who also crosses the country on two wheels, but on a long world tour.
Dejan is Slovenian and has included Tanzania in his itinerary of African countries he visits during his epic journey. He came into the country through Mbeya in southern Tanzania, and headed to Arusha in the north via Dar es Salaam.
Before Dajen left the country, Sheila Fundi, our writer, met him in Arusha and got good news from him: he had a trouble – free experience on his journey through the country, and he found the people welcoming and friendly.
This comment helps build a good reputation for a good destination.
In this issue, we also meet another visitor with praise about travels in Tanzania. Kindly Smith is a British citizen, who travels to the crater highlands of Ngorongoro to see wildlife and the astounding scenery. She goes down into the crater and describes the spectacular concentration of wildlife in this World Heritage Site. In her previous article to Tan travel, kindly wrote of her visit to Tarangire National Park and gain described well the wildlife treasure in the country. Like Dejan’s comments, the words of kindly give Tanzanian tour operators hope in their daily struggle to improve destination Tanzania.
We have everything that makes Tanzania a spectacular destination. Welcome to this destination and the travel stories in the issue.
